As i continue on my research based on interactive fabric that uses lights as its elements, I found out that several designers have been doing this sort of work previously.
For example, Janet Cooke Hansen who has made lighted garments and accesories for artists such as Kanye West, Incubus, Daft Punk and Big Kenny. Her products were mainly similar, putting LEDs on the garment to create a shape. It would then lights up, using batteries. These LEDs played the role as the decorations / motifs on the fabric.
